OUAGADOUGOU—Minister of State for the Civil Service, Bassolma Bazié, praised the personnel at Camp Sangoulé Lamizana Military Hospital for their dedication in conducting medical examinations for state agents, despite resource limitations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Minister Bazié visited the Halassane Coulibaly Military Hospital on Tuesday, where he recognized the hospital staff's commitment to managing both civilian and military healthcare needs, while also handling the medical examination of 3,200 candidates for civil service incorporation in just two weeks. These candidates included inspectors, controllers from Customs, assistants from Water and Forests, and prison security guards, alongside military personnel from various garrisons.

Bazié highlighted the importance of this accomplishment, particularly within the challenging security context of the country. He reassured the public that the recruitment process was conducted transparently, emphasizing that there was no manipulation at any stage. The visit also aimed to ease concerns among young candidates by demonstrating the integrity of the recruitment procedure.

Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly, Minister of State for Defense, expressed satisfaction with the visit, commending the hospital's medical staff for their significant efforts, which have reduced the need to evacuate war-wounded personnel for treatment abroad. He noted the visit reinforced the strong collaboration between the ministries of Defense and Civil Service.
