Minister Ayanda Dlodlo hosts dialogue on measures to improve financial and organisational performance systems of state institutions, 9 Sept

As part of activities for the Integrated Public Service Month (IPSM), the Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo, will host a dialogue to discuss measures to improve the financial and organizational performance systems within the public service and state entities.
The dialogue to be held virtually on Thursday, 09 September 2021, will see the Office of the Auditor- General, the National Treasury and the Department of Monitoring and Evaluation, deliberating on measures to improve State institutions performance on annual audits, strengthening State capacity through the Procurement Bill, and the government-wide system of planning, monitoring and evaluation.
The September month is earmarked by government to celebrate the IPSM. The month long program takes place from 30 August to 01 October 2021 across all three spheres of government under the theme: “The Year of Charlotte Maxeke – a resilient public service responsive to the coronavirus pandemic”.
The theme seeks to celebrate the life of the late struggle stalwart, Charlotte Maxeke by emulating the ethos and values that she espoused as a public servant as reflected in the Public Service Charter and reinforces government’s commitment to instill a sense of pride of being a public servant, and calls on public servants to be ethical, committed and live the principles of Batho Pele. The IPSM is a service delivery improvement mechanism and an integral part of the Batho Pele Revitalization strategy.
The programme offers an opportunity to reflect and assess the quality of services government institutions provide to citizens, its service delivery policies and their impact, as well as bringing innovations to modernise and digitize services, in order to respond to ever-changing service delivery environment shaped by the coronavirus pandemic and other external forces.
