Military Engineers Rapidly Restore Badara Bridge, Ministry of Infrastructure Applauds Efforts


BADARA – The Ministry of Infrastructure has praised the swift action of military engineers who successfully constructed a mobile bridge on the Badara-Bama axis, restoring vital road connectivity after the original bridge was damaged by heavy rains on July 28.



According to Burkina Information Agency, special recognition was given to the eight military engineers led by Lieutenant Bagambiré Luc Ouéna. Their efforts were crucial in installing the temporary bridge, which allowed for the immediate resumption of traffic between Bama and Badara following the collapse of the previous structure.



The Ministry of Infrastructure highlighted the quick deployment and efficiency of the military engineering team, noting their pivotal role in mitigating the disruption caused by the damaged bridge and ensuring the continuity of transport and commerce in the region.
