JUBBALAND — The Jubbaland State Military Court passed a death sentence on soldier Mohamed Abdullahi Said for the murder of fellow soldier Mohamed Nune Salah.

According to a new release by Somali National News Agency, the sentencing comes as military courts across Somalia continue to take actions against both Al-Shabaab militants and government or regional forces involved in deadly crimes. In a separate incident in Baidoa, the Southwest State Court executed two soldiers, Mohamed Ali Abdi and Ismail Abdirahman, for homicides in Bur-hakaba and Baidoa towns.
