Middle School Students in Arbinda Engage in Patriotic Immersion Program

Arbinda: The Arbinda County High School recently hosted the official launch ceremony for a patriotic immersion program targeted at middle school students. This six-week initiative is designed to instill civic and patriotic values in the students, with an emphasis on strengthening community spirit and solidarity.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the principal of the Arbinda departmental high school, Mr. Idrissa Porgo, expressed his gratitude towards the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). He highlighted their role in making education effective and operational in the Arbinda district. Mr. Porgo encouraged the students to be diligent and committed throughout the immersion experience, emphasizing that education is crucial for achieving personal goals and contributing to societal development.

The president of the special delegation of the Arbinda commune, Mr. Lazard KIEME, explained that the patriotic immersion program is a presidential initiative that extends beyond theoretical instruction. He elaborated that it includes physical exercises and practical activities aimed at fostering courage, discipline, and resilience in students as they navigate daily life challenges. Mr. KIEME concluded by encouraging the students and wishing them success and resilience for the upcoming six weeks of exercises within the program.
