The Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans will tomorrow receive a briefing from the Department of Military Veterans on its distribution of benefits and management of the military veteran’s database for the financial year 2022/23.

The Department of military veterans has faced many challenges in delivering benefits prescribed in the Military Veterans Act and finalising a credible database have continued to impact negatively on its ability to deliver services to veterans.
