Media: 54 trainees seeking the ISTIC assistant diploma

54 trainees from the Institute of Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques (ISTIC) will defend their dissertations from June 22 to 27, 2023 with a view to obtaining the Assistants in Journalism, Communication and Media Technique and Technology.

It was the Communication Assistant, Queen Edith Compaoré who opened the ball for defenses. She defended on the theme: "Analysis of the communication practices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso relating to the promotion of the 7th edition of AFRICALLIA".

Her interest, she said, focused on the subject with the launch of the forum, on May 25 and 26, 2023, in Ouagadougou.

"We have decided to focus our thinking on the subject to see how to further improve what is already done, so that this forum remains the best of forums," she argued.

His work, which was appreciated by the jury, was sanctioned with a score of 18.50/20.

Her comrade Gloria Balo, Journalism Assistant also defended her work during this first day of defense. She produced a major report of 13 min 48 seconds on: "Ouagadougou, the city of chicken".

According to her, the choice of this subject started from an observation that chicken is prized over other meats. She addressed in her report, subjects such as the number of chickens consumed per day and the ethnic groups where the first children are prohibited from eating chicken.

“I am happy and I say thank you to all those who supported me, in particular my production manager and my classmates. I deserved this note (16/20) in view of the effort that I provided”, she rejoiced.

The director general of ISTIC, Alizèta Ouoba/Compaoré, who launched the defenses, praised the qualities of her trainees.

"These trainees who graduate with the Assistant diploma are ready to be employed as journalists, technicians and communicators in both the public and private sectors", declared the Director General of ISTIC.

After his words of encouragement, the DG asked applicants to always have peace of mind and less stress in order to be able to pass this oral performance test.

To the country's authorities, particularly the Ministry of Communication, she expressed her gratitude for the support and support received to be able to provide quality training to students.
