In a bid to assist municipalities to effectively deal with fire occurrences in the province, the North West MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs Nono Maloyi will on Thursday, 01 December 2022, handover a new firefighting engine to Mahikeng local municipality.
This fully equipped firefighting engine which is worth R6.3 million can function as both an emergency rescue vehicle. It has a storage capacity of up to 10,000 litres of water.
