Manga: The Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Pingdwend© Gilbert OUEDRAOGO, presided over the official inauguration ceremony of the Delwend© Hotel, located at the entrance to the town of Manga, on the RN29, this Saturday, May 31, 2025, in the Centre-Sud region. The event took place in the presence of regional authorities, economic operators, and the highly mobilized local population.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Delwend© Hotel, which has been open since March 15, 2025, has already established itself as a benchmark in tourist accommodation and services. Covering an area of 6,000 m² and resulting from an investment of two billion CFA francs, this modern establishment offers two air-conditioned suites, six “privilege” rooms, and twenty-eight standard rooms, all equipped and furnished to ensure optimal comfort. The hotel also provides an ideal setting for hosting seminars, workshops, and various events, thus meeting a real need for reception infrastructure in the municipality of Manga.
For Minister Pingdwend© Gilbert OUEDRAOGO, the Delwend© Hotel is much more than just a building: “It is an act of economic patriotism by the president of the ERJF Group. This investment contributes to creating local added value, generates jobs for our youth, and helps build a resilient economy based on our own strengths. We will continue to encourage and support all initiatives like the one we are celebrating today in Manga,” he declared.
J©r´me ROUAMBA, General Manager of the hotel and representative of the developer Joseph ROUAMBA, welcomed the completion of a project led by a visionary entrepreneur. According to him, this 3-star hotel fills a clear gap in accommodation in Manga: “It is possible to invest here, and this example proves it. Jobs are created, the local economy is boosted, and the region’s image is strengthened,” he said.
Alassane Sienou, representing sponsor Idrissa Nassa, emphasized that this hotel also represents a place for meetings, exchanges, and cultural mixing. “It is a space where visitors from all over the world will be able to discover not only the comfort of quality accommodation, but also the human warmth and cultural values that are our pride. The sponsor is committed to supporting this project to the best of its ability, to contributing to its visibility, and to encouraging any action aimed at promoting local tourism, crafts, gastronomy, and culture, which are major assets of our identity.”
The ceremony concluded with the traditional ribbon cutting and a tour of the premises, marking a new era for the economic and tourism development of Manga.
