Luanda: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BAI Academy, Noelma Viegas D'Abreu, defended on Thursday in Luanda the commitment to balanced leadership guided by ethical principles, with a view to achieving satisfactory results in organizations. The manager took this position during a conference on "Leading for Excellence," promoted by the 'Consumer Choice Angola' program. She emphasized that leaders must balance high standards, financial results, ethical principles, and a sense of responsibility, without ever losing sight of humanism. According to Angola Press News Agency, Noelma Viegas D'Abreu demystified the narrative that humanized leadership is doomed to failure, arguing that this management model places people at the center of decisions and promotes well-being, emotional health, and respect for the abilities of each professional. In her approach, she criticized the attitude of young people, considering that this group is often seduced by the unbridled pursuit of titles, instead of focusing on th eir skills. Along the same lines, the CEO of Pumangol, Ivanilson Machado, advised young people to invest in continuous training and to respect the evolutionary process. He also encouraged them to be "extraordinary" in everything they do, without settling for mediocrity. The conference brought together business leaders, strategic decision-makers, and experts. The event also included a lecture on Building Products of Excellence in Angola.
