Malian President Assimi GOÏTA Concludes Visit to Burkina Faso

OUAGADOUGOU — Colonel Assimi GOÏTA, President of the Republic of Mali, concluded his visit to Burkina Faso, emphasizing the strong bilateral ties between the two nations as he departed Ouagadougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, his visit, which started with a morning arrival and included a working session with Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim TRAORE, focused on enhancing cooperation on counter-terrorism efforts, bilateral relations, and socio-economic development. The session, which also involved delegates from both countries, addressed strengthening ties within the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), aiming to boost regional stability and cooperation.

President GOÏTA praised the ongoing collaboration between Mali and Burkina Faso, highlighting their shared commitment to tackling regional challenges together.
