The Malian government announced on Thursday, June 4, 2026, the awarding of a financial reward ranging from 500 million to 2 billion FCFA to any person providing reliable, relevant and actionable information enabling the arrest or neutralization of 7 individuals wanted for their alleged involvement in terrorist acts.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the individuals being sought include Iyad Ag GHALY, alias Abou-al Fadel; Hamadoun Hassan SANGARBARRY, alias Amadou Kouffa, alias M´bb´; Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye DIALLO, alias Jouleybib de Nampala, alias Sidi; Alghabass Ag INTALLA; Sedan Ag HITA, alias Outhman Al Ansari, alias Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, alias Al Qayrawani; Bilal Ag ACHERIF; and Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi.

In a statement signed on June 4, 2026, by the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, Major General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, the Malian authorities emphasized that this measure is part of the fight against terrorism and the preservation of national security. The individuals concerned are actively being sought by the relevant authorities for their alleged involvement in the planning, organization, and execution of terrorist acts that have harmed the security of persons and property on national territory, according to the statement.

The government also calls on the public to be vigilant and to cooperate with the Armed and Security Forces by providing any information that could help locate these individuals.
