Macclesfield: Sixth-tier Macclesfield sparked one of the most remarkable upsets in FA Cup history by defeating reigning champions Crystal Palace with a 2-1 victory at home. Goals from Paul Dawson and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts at the 43rd and 61st minutes propelled the National League North team to an unexpected win against a formidable Crystal Palace lineup. Despite intense pressure from the Premier League team in the final moments, including a free-kick goal by Yeremy Pino in the 90th minute, Macclesfield held firm through a tense injury time to secure their place in history.
