Houet: The private Lyc©e de l'Amiti© celebrates Patriotic Commitment Days: The top officials of the Lyc©e priv© de l'Amiti© (LPA) in P©ni organized a flag-raising ceremony on Monday morning as part of the Patriotic Commitment Days, in the presence of municipal authorities, educational staff and students.
According to Burkina Information Agency, from the early hours of the morning, the students of the LPA sang the national anthem in the Dioula language, a symbolic gesture reflecting their commitment to cultural diversity and national unity. This solemn moment was marked by a strong spirit of patriotism and respect for the symbols of the State.
Speaking on behalf of the students, spokesperson Adjaratou Kon© delivered a message imbued with responsibility and commitment. She urged her classmates to sow the seeds of civic-mindedness, cultivate patriotism, and practice responsible citizenship, the cornerstones of a harmonious future for the nation.
Present at the ceremony, the first vice-president of the special delegation of the municipality, Kassoum Ouattara, praised the initiative of the school's officials. He encouraged the students to become model citizens, engaged and respectful of republican values.
According to the organizers, this activity aims to strengthen young people's sense of national belonging and to promote civic responsibility and citizenship within the school environment.
