L©raba: The provincial directorate in charge of primary education in L©raba celebrated the provincial day of excellence on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in Sindou. Chaired by the province's secretary general, Y©onvi¨l Som©, 35 education professionals were recognized for their achievements during the ceremony.

According to Burkina Information Agency, 35 education stakeholders were honored on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in Sindou, during the provincial excellence day. There are a total of 13 teachers, 16 students, 4 non-formal actors, 1 COGES, 1 best CEB, as well as the best APE and AME who distinguished themselves during the 2023-2024 school year in L©raba.

The provincial director in charge of Primary Education of L©raba, Souro Sanon, stated that the objective of celebrating the day is to create a healthy emulation among the actors of the educational world for more effort and perfect academic results in the province of L©raba. The prizes include motorcycles, computers and teacher kits, bicycles, and school bags for the best students.

In addition to the prizes, all winners except the students received a certificate of merit or recognition. For the regional director in charge of primary education, Dary Dah, if the 2024 edition was held in 2025, this is explained by the difficulties encountered in finding partners and people of good will.

While congratulating Mr. Sanon for the successful organization of the 2024 edition of provincial excellence, Mr. Dah invited teachers to invest more for the success of the mission entrusted to them. The Secretary General of the L©raba province, Y©onvi¨l Som©, encouraged education stakeholders to never give up in the face of the difficulties associated with organizing this day.
