L©raba: The High Commissioner of the province of L©raba, Yacouba Sawadogo, invited the populations to be standard-bearers of the Burkina Faso destination during the 20th stage of the raising of the national colors in Sindou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the first edition of the rotating ceremony for raising the national colors in public and parapublic services and structures in L©raba has been organized since June 9, 2022. This 20th stage is celebrated in the context of commemorating the “Burkinabe Heritage Month,” whose activities were officially launched by the Prime Minister on April 17 in Bobo-Dioulasso under the theme: “Cultural Heritage and Economic Development.”
Given that the celebration of this month takes place concurrently with the Customs and Traditions Day on May 15, High Commissioner Yacouba Sawadogo urged the population to be standard-bearers of the Burkina Faso destination. He also encouraged them to discover or have others discover the historical sites as expressed by the President of Faso through a message delivered by the Prime Minister in Bobo Dioulasso.
Mr. Sawadogo congratulated the provincial representative of the Women’s Income-Gaining Activities Support Fund (FAARF), Yamfissa Karama, for successfully organizing this 20th edition. It is up to the provincial directorate of Sports and Recreation to organize the next color run on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
