Loroum Students Compete in BEPC Examinations Amid Security Concerns

LOROUM — The Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC) exams, crucial for progressing to higher educational levels, commenced on June 4, 2024, across Burkina Faso, with 334 candidates from Loroum participating in this national assessment. The exams play a vital role in determining the educational progression for these students.

According to Burkina Information Agency, The local examinations are divided into two juries, with Jury 1 located at the Yamwaya High School in Ouahigouya accommodating 223 candidates, including 146 girls and 77 boys. Jury 2, stationed at the Lycée provincial du Loroum in Titao, hosts 111 candidates, comprising 82 girls and 29 boys. The arrangement reflects the ongoing security adjustments in the region, aiming to provide a safe and conducive environment for the students.
