Loroum Province Officials Assess Construction Progress in Titao

Ouahigouya – The High Commissioner of Loroum province, Captain Djibril Bassolé, along with members of the special Titao delegation, conducted an inspection on Thursday, November 30, 2023, to evaluate the ongoing construction projects in the commune of Titao. The delegation visited the construction site of the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) in Siguinoguin, sector 3 of the city, and the solar installation project for ONEA in sector 6.

According to Burkina Information Agency, These infrastructure projects are part of the 3 Borders and Nex Water initiatives, aimed at strengthening the resilience of local populations. Captain Bassolé expressed his views on the progress of the health center in Siguinoguin, noting that while work was ongoing, the level of execution had not met his satisfaction. He instructed the teams to expedite the work to ensure timely completion.

In his capacity as the principal official of Loroum province, Captain Bassolé emphasized the role of local communities in the success of these projects. He urged the populations to actively contribute to the completion of the projects, suggesting that they could assist by providing aggregates and water where necessary.

The High Commissioner also acknowledged the importance of the solar installations by Nex Eau, which are expected to alleviate the drinking water shortages in the commune. This visit underscored the commitment of the provincial authorities to closely monitor and facilitate the progress of key development projects in the region.
