Loroum: The High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Captain Djibril Bassol©, praised the ardor and resilience of the teachers during the launch of the written exams of the Brevet d’©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) at the Provincial High School of Loroum on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Captain Bassol© opened the envelope for the first test and offered advice to the candidates, encouraging them to give their best efforts.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Captain Bassol© expressed gratitude to the teachers for their dedication despite challenging conditions. “I am proud of the resilience of the players. Everyone gave their best. I extend my thanks to all the players,” he stated. He also advised the students to remain calm and composed amid the challenges they face.
The provincial director in charge of secondary education in Loroum, Souleymane Ouermi, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the examinations. He acknowledged the support of the FDS and VDP, which enabled the exams to proceed smoothly. Mr. Ouermi also urged parents to support their children during this period to prevent delays, as students often feel fatigued at such times.
In Loroum, a total of 264 candidates are participating in the BEPC exams, distributed across two examination centers. The Titao 1 center at the Loroum provincial high school registered 112 candidates, comprising 82 girls and 30 boys. Meanwhile, the Titao 2 center at Yamwaya high school registered 94 girls and 58 boys, totaling 152 candidates.
