Loroum/CEP 2023: High Commissioner Djibril Bassolé comforts candidates for Titao

The High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Mr. Djibril Bassolé proceeded on Tuesday, to the opening of the tests to the jury I of Titao and encouraged the candidates to compose well, a-t -we aknowledge.

At the head of a delegation made up of customary and religious leaders, parents’ leaders and heads of education services, it was at the Center de l’école A de Titao that the first person in charge of the province s came to, on the one hand, give the start of the administration of the tests, but also touch the finger on the realities of the conduct of the exam and comfort the candidates.

Thanks to the grouping initiatives, 282 candidates, including 186 girls and 96 boys, actually took part in the exams at Titao. Two examination centers have been opened for this purpose at School A and at Watinoma School in Titao.

“It was not easy. Often we are in the middle of class while there are gunshots. The children are frightened and out of their minds in class. There was also a problem of teachers. But despite everything, we were able to hold on,” noted Augustin Sawadogo, president of the Center of Titao A.

For Ram Bonkoungou, Head of Titao I district, this is a sign of satisfaction. “Everything is going well. All registrants responded. I thank all the actors and partners of education. They fought for the school to hold>>, he declared before recalling a need: <<I still seek from the authorities, an accompaniment in teaching staff>>.

The High Commissioner of the province Mr. Djibril Bassolé testified to his joy and stressed that “it is a joy for me because it is a strong sign to be able to hold the exams. I salute the determination of teachers, students, parents of students and all those who have supported our initiatives >>.

The primary school certificate exam is held in both Titao and Ouahigouya due to the security situation.
