Zondoma: The lifeless body of a young man was found on Friday, May 23, 2025, in an adulterated liquor store in sector 4 of Gourcy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the gruesome discovery was made very early in the morning in front of a counterfeit liquor store in the area. The victim, aged around thirty, was known to be a loyal customer in the locality.

Shortly after his burial, it was reported that another, younger man had been taken to the Gourcy medical center after consuming a large dose of adulterated alcohol. The incident was the result of a bet, which was supposed to earn him 500 CFA francs.

In this area, within a radius of less than 150 meters, there are at least four outlets selling adulterated drinks that are frequently visited by the city's youth.
