Léraba: Young People Discuss Local Development at Sindou Forum.

Sindou: Young people from the locality gathered to deliberate on local development issues during the first edition of the Sindou youth forum, chaired by the president of the special delegation of the urban commune of Sindou, Issiaka Yadia.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the forum was held under the theme “Development of the commune of Sindou: commitment and participation of young people in a context of fight against insecurity.” The event aimed to provide a platform for the youth of Sindou to engage in discussions about local development, emphasizing their role and involvement amid the ongoing fight against insecurity in Burkina Faso.

Issiaka Yadia expressed his approval of the initiative led by the provincial management in charge of Youth of Léraba. He noted the importance of the forum in addressing the concerns of the youth and recognizing their commitment to the development of Sindou. Key topics included youth entrepreneurship and the challenges they face in developing their businesses, as well
as their contributions to the locality’s growth.

Adama Konfé, the provincial director in charge of youth in Léraba, highlighted that the forum’s main purpose was to create a space for dialogue between the youth and municipal authorities. This interaction would allow young people to voice their concerns and propose actionable suggestions that could benefit them. Konfé also acknowledged the active participation and enthusiasm demonstrated by the youth throughout the forum.

Kassim Ouattara, the president of the Sindou municipal youth council, expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity provided to the youth to convey their issues to municipal authorities. He affirmed the commitment of the young people to tackle the challenges they face in contributing to the overall development of the commune.
