Léraba: The 2023-2023 school year officially launched in the commune of Douna

The high commissioner of the province of Léraba, Mahamadi Congo officially set the starting tone for the 2023-2024 school year in Douna, a rural commune located 7 km from the urban commune of Sindou.

It was at 8:25 a.m. that the procession of provincial authorities arrived in the courtyard of the public primary school of Golona, ??a village in the department of Douna, a rural commune located 7 km from the urban commune of Sindou.

After singing the national anthem in chorus, the first official of the province, Mahamadi Congo officially gave the starting point for educational activities for 2023-2024.

the high commissioner, the provincial director of preschool, primary and non-formal education, Souro Sanon and the one in charge of primary and secondary education, Mamadou Koné, the village chief of Golona, ??the PDS of Sindou town hall and his colleague from Douna encouraged the teaching staff and students.

e administrative one carried out on Friday September 15, 2023.

The High Commissioner urged teachers to maintain hope and work to achieve the objectives set, despite the difficult situation in the province of Léraba.

It should be noted that the province of Léraba is made up of 8 Basic Education District (CEB) with 182 schools open at primary level and 52 establishments at secondary level.
