Léraba Province Commemorates Martyrs with Minute of Silence

SINDOU – The High Commissioner of Léraba province, Mahamadi Congo, together with local military, paramilitary, and civil authorities, led a minute of silence on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in tribute to those who perished during the 2014 insurrection and the 2015 coup d’état.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the commemorative event took place at the Léraba High Commission, where the province’s inhabitants congregated to honor the martyrs. The day, decreed by the state to recognize the sacrifices of these individuals, was observed throughout the nation, with the population of Sindou expressing a profound appreciation for the significance of the commemoration.
