Launch of Primary School Certificate Exams in Bobo 2 District

Guiriko: Colma B school hosted the official launch ceremony this Tuesday for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) exams, 2025-2026 session, for the Bobo 2 basic education district (CEB), the largest in the Guiriko region. The event was presided over by the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of District 2, Siegfried Sigaro Sanou. This solemn ceremony began with the raising of the colors accompanied by the performance of the national anthem in the Dioula language, "Faso Fasa".

According to Burkina Information Agency, after this symbolic moment, the PDS toured all the examination rooms to encourage the candidates. He opened the first envelope in Room 1, officially launching the exams. He urged the constituency to surpass the 91.26% pass rate achieved in 2024-2025.

The Head of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Bobo 2 and coordinator of the CEP Juries of the CEB, Inspector General Kam Sami, recalled a revolutionary principle: "Work in order and discipline". The CEB of Bobo 2, the largest in the Guiriko region, has 5,091 candidates this year, including 2,360 boys and 2,731 girls.

The tests take place in 22 centers divided into 7 juries. Jury 1 has 734 candidates, jury 2 has 682 candidates, jury 3 has 650 candidates, jury 4 has 771 candidates, jury 5 has 719 candidates, jury 6 has 844 candidates, and jury 7 has 694 candidates.

To ensure the smooth running of the exams, 737 people were involved. These included 252 invigilators, 314 examiners, 129 accompanying teachers, and 42 secretaries.
