Da nang: A landslide triggered by persistent rains resulted in one fatality and caused damage to a livestock farm in central Vietnam's Da Nang city on Monday morning, Vietnam News Agency reported.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the landslide dislodged soil and rocks, which cascaded down a mountain slope for approximately 2 kilometers, occurring about 5 kilometers from residential areas. Local authorities and rescue teams have successfully recovered the victim's body. In response to the situation, they are actively relocating residents living near the affected zone to safer locations, the report added.
