Kwale Governor Fatuma Achani hailed the park’s opening as a significant step in promoting healthy lifestyles and providing accessible recreational facilities. She highlighted the park’s sustainability focus, noting the preservation of indigenous trees as part of its design. Governor Achani stated that the park would enhance Kwale town’s attractiveness and contribute to urban renewal efforts.

The park features numerous amenities, including a walking track, food court, public Wi-Fi, streetlights, and areas designed for children and fitness activities. Governor Achani noted that developing tourism is a priority for her administration, with the park poised to position Kwale as a prime location for business, investment, and tourism.
