Kourw©ogo High Commissioner Promotes Patriotic Engagement and Tax Compliance

Kourw©ogo: The High Commissioner of Kourw©ogo Province, Mahamadi Congo, launched the third edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation, combined with the Days of Exemplary Tax Compliance, in Bouss©. The ceremony was attended by administrative, traditional, and religious authorities, as well as key stakeholders from the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event focused on patriotic commitment and citizen participation, with the High Commissioner commending participants for their involvement. Mr. Congo urged the population to prioritize local products over imports to support national producers, aligning with directives from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, which advocate for a shift in food and economic policy.

Julien N. Ou©draogo, the Provincial Director of Taxes, highlighted the importance of mobilizing endogenous resources to enhance national sovereignty. He emphasized that the provincial tax office aims to increase domestic revenue collection through the establishment of tax exemplarity days, reflecting the authorities' vision.

The Provincial Director of Sports for Kourw©ogo, Sayouba T. Ou©draogo, announced the 'Youth and Revolution in Motion' initiative, set for April 2, 2026, in Bouss©. This event aims to promote revolutionary ideals among the youth and population, with strong mobilization from all stakeholders being called for to ensure its success.
