Bouss©: The commune of Bouss© hosted the 3rd edition of 'Tansoaba Daaga,' a cultural and educational event, under the theme: 'The responsibility and involvement of Tansobendamba, traditional warriors, in times of insecurity.' The ceremony was held in the presence of customary and administrative authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative aims to raise awareness among the younger generation about the role and place of the Tansoaba in traditional society. Once guarantors of the security of the population, these warriors represented a fundamental pillar of community protection. "The idea of organizing this event stems from the worrying security situation our country has been experiencing for almost a decade," said the Tansoaba of Bouss©, who is behind the event.

The sponsor of the ceremony, the President and CEO of Savane M©dias, Aboubacar Zida known as "Sid naaba," gave a presentation on the place of the Tansoaba in the organization of Moaga society, the values they embody, and the traditional equipment of the Tansoaba warriors. He noted three elements that constitute the strength of the warrior: his courage, the power of his weapons, and his knowledge of the art of war.

Following this communication, several customary notables made their contributions. The traditional chief of Nabraboogo, Naaba Saonr©, and the president of traditional practitioners of Burkina Faso, Man©gr© Naba Samen, also welcomed the initiative. They stressed the importance of perpetuating such meetings to transmit ancestral knowledge, recalling that the Tansoaba have long constituted a protective barrier between indigenous populations and invaders in ancient times.

The president of the special delegation of the commune of Bouss©, Issaka Ganemtor©, representing the High Commissioner, welcomed this initiative which, according to him, "educates and raises awareness among many about ancestral values and social cohesion." 'Tansoaba Daaga' thus asserts itself as a space for intergenerational transmission and the promotion of cultural heritage in line with contemporary security challenges.
