BOUSSÉ — The Homeland Defense Front (FDP) of Kourweogo province made a notable contribution to Burkina Faso’s patriotic support fund, presenting a donation of 232,600 CFA francs on Wednesday, aimed at bolstering national defense efforts and local development initiatives.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a spokesperson for the FDP and a Volunteer for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), the donation reflects the group’s commitment to national security and sovereignty. During the ceremony, Kinda paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the FDS and VDP in combating terrorism and stressed the importance of mobilizing all citizens in defense of the country. The High Commissioner of Kourweogo province, Siaka Barro, expressed his appreciation for the FDP’s contribution and encouraged other local groups to emulate this example of dedication to the nation.
