K©n©dougou: The prefect, president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Kourouma, Angadia Tankoano, proceeded this Tuesday, with the official launch of the written tests of the Baccalaureate, session of 2026, at the departmental high school. This session is particularly significant for the institution, which is hosting a Baccalaureate examination board for the first time in its history. The Kourouma Examination Centre houses board 109 and has 158 candidates enrolled in the A4 and D series.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Series A4 has 90 candidates, including 43 boys and 47 girls, while series D has 68 candidates, including 42 boys and 26 girls. At the opening of the first envelope, PDS Tankoano encouraged the candidates to approach the exams with confidence, calm, and determination. He urged them to rely on the knowledge acquired during the school year and to strictly adhere to the rules in place to ensure the smooth running of the exams.
'Success is the result of hard work and discipline. Stay focused, avoid any form of fraud and give your best,' he advised.
