KOUP‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬°LA: The High Commissioner of Kourittenga, Mocatr Ilboudo, has called on the residents of the province to actively support government initiatives aimed at strengthening national sovereignty and fostering economic and social progress. Speaking in Koup©la on December 31, 2024, during his New Year’s address, Ilboudo emphasized the importance of collective action to achieve stability and development.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ilboudo acknowledged the significant contributions made by the province’s constituted bodies throughout 2024, which have helped Kourittenga maintain peace and security while initiating impactful economic and social development efforts. He expressed gratitude to these organizations for their role in enhancing the province’s standing and success over the past year.
Looking ahead to 2025, Ilboudo conveyed his best wishes for a prosperous year for all Burkinab¨, particularly the people of Kourittenga. He emphasized the need for continued focus on stabilization, security, and development in the province and beyond. Ilboudo also expressed optimism about the potential end of terrorism in the country, highlighting the reforms introduced by President Ibrahim Traor© as steps toward achieving this goal.
