Kourittenga High Commissioner Urges Exam Candidates to Follow Supervisors’ Instructions


Kourittenga: The High Commissioner of the province of Kourittenga, Moctar Ilboudo, launched the written tests of the Brevet d’©tude du premier cycle (BEPC) for the 2025 session at the departmental high school of Dialgaye. He emphasized the importance for candidates to remain focused and adhere to the supervisors’ instructions.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch was accompanied by the Director in charge of Secondary Education and other provincial officials. The exams, which began on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, saw a total of 4,703 candidates, including 3,024 girls and 1,679 boys, spread across 18 juries. The technical education level exams comprised 23 candidates for the BEP and 18 for the CAP, while vocational training had 381 candidates for the BQP and five for the BPT.



The province registered 146 internally displaced candidates for the 2025 exams. Dieudonn© Belemsigri, the provincial director of secondary education in Kourittenga, stressed the importance of compliance with instructions and noted a decrease in the number of candidates from the previous year, which dropped from 4,900 to 4,703.



Mr. Belemsigri acknowledged the authorities’ efforts in ensuring a secure environment for the exams and encouraged the community’s involvement in education. He called for increased awareness among stakeholders to address the decline in candidate numbers. Partners like Enabel and Plan International expressed their commitment to support educational initiatives in the province.

The High Commissioner, Moctar Ilboudo, thanked the educational community for their dedication and advised candidates to rely on their preparation, urging them to work hard to achieve desirable results.
