Kourittenga Clinic Donates Equipment to Support Local Initiative

Kourittenga: The Kouka Clinic in Koup©la demonstrated its support for Faso Mªbo by donating equipment worth a total of 200,000 CFA francs on Friday, June 26, 2026. The handover took place at the Faso Mªbo agency in Kourittenga, located in Koup©la. The clinic delegation was led by its founder, Professor Jean Gabriel Ouango.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the clinic's contribution, estimated at 200,000 CFA francs, consisted of 10 bags of Sikalite and 10 packs of mineral water. The clinic's founder, Professor Jean Gabriel Ouango, stated that this gesture represents the medical institution's participation in the province's development. "We came to say that we absolutely support this initiative. Our donation is symbolic, but it embodies our participation and our desire to stand alongside the people of Koup©la," he stated. He issued a call to action to local stakeholders who have not yet come forward and emphasized the need for civic engagement to complement government initiatives. "No one will build our country for us, no one will build Koup©la for us. The government is doing what it can, but each of us should be able to mobilize." "The day we see Koup©la transformed with paving stones and sanitation management, it will be a collective pride," concluded Professor Ouango.
