Kourittenga: The central church of the Assemblies of God in Koupela celebrated the Feast of the Nativity on the night of Wednesday, December 24, 2025. This commemoration brought together the faithful as well as administrative authorities from the province of Kourittenga.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the senior pastor of the church and president of the Federation of Evangelical Churches and Missions (FEME) of Kourittenga, Malgouri Boureima, focused his address on the relationship between humanity and the Creator. He affirmed that it is time to deepen one's connection with God and strengthen inner confidence to overcome national and international challenges. "I invite everyone to immerse themselves in the Word of God, to deepen their communion with the Lord, and to be a witness in their actions in this life," he declared.
The pastor also encouraged those present to be helpful in all ways, to cultivate love, peace, and harmony, while offering blessings for Burkina Faso. The Secretary General of the Kourittenga province, Fernand N'do, representing the High Commissioner, congratulated the church and commended the community's efforts for the well-being of the country. He invited members to continue praying for their homeland.
Church members expressed their satisfaction during the celebration, with Jean Tamalgo, a member of the church, expressing his joy at participating. He also voiced his hope for peace to return to Burkina Faso.
