Koumbia CEB Head Amado Kouanda Praised for Perfect CEP Results

Ouagadougou: The head of the Koumbia Basic Education District (CEB), Amado Kouanda, was congratulated for achieving excellent results in the Primary School Certificate (CEP). The acknowledgment was made public when the president of the special delegation (PDS) of Koumbia, Boukary Zono, presented a letter of congratulations on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the congratulatory letter was presented during a session of the special delegation attended by members of the municipal council. The PDS emphasized that the letter serves as a recognition by the municipality of the efforts made by Amado Kouanda and all those involved in education. The efforts were credited with significantly improving academic results in the district.

Upon receiving the accolade, Comrade Kouanda expressed his gratitude to the president of the special delegation and the municipal council members. He dedicated the recognition to a wide array of contributors, including educational supervisors, school principals, teachers, social partners, administrative, traditional, and religious authorities, parents, local communities, and students. Kouanda attributed the outstanding results to a collective commitment and a synergy of actions among all stakeholders in education.

It is noteworthy that the Koumbia CEB recorded a remarkable success rate of 99.51% in the CEP in 2025, which improved to a perfect 100% in the 2026 session.
