Sandbondtenga: Several socio-professional groups in the Sandbondtenga province, including the Unified Association of Veterans, Former Military Personnel, Widows, Orphans, and War Victims of Sandbondtenga, staff from the Basic Education District (CEB) of Boussouma/S1, and a delegation from the village of Damane, have actively contributed to the Faso MEbO initiative of Koulse by providing essential materials and financial support.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the fundraising effort was spearheaded by the Sandbondtenga Association of Veterans, Former Military Personnel, Widows, Orphans, and War Victims, which donated 55,000 FCFA. The association's president, retired Captain Jean Ouedraogo, also made a personal contribution of a ton of cement to the initiative.
The Boussouma/S1 Basic Education District staff contributed with 3 tons of cement and twelve packages of water. District head Sibiri Ouedraogo highlighted that this act of solidarity reflects the patriotic commitment of the teachers and supervisors, expressing hope that their contribution would aid in the development of Burkina Faso.
In addition, a delegation from the village of Damane, in the Kaya district, offered 15,000 FCFA, as well as tea, coffee, and sugar. Zakari Zabre, the head of the delegation, mentioned that this gesture was in response to a call from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, urging citizens to contribute to the nation's development.
Post-ceremony, the donors participated in activities such as unmolding paving stones, collecting sand, preparing molds with oil, and mixing construction materials, demonstrating their hands-on commitment.
The president of the special delegation of Kaya, Solange Kima/Minoungou, and the deputy coordinator of Faso MEbO des Koulse, Adjutant Soumala Guiwa, expressed appreciation for the donors' patriotic gesture. They commended the enthusiasm displayed by the socio-professional groups and encouraged others to follow this example of solidarity.
