Ouargaye: The Koulp©logo Provincial Directorate of Family and Solidarity distributed essential food aid to vulnerable internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ouargaye, thanks to a significant donation from the Association of Koulp©logo Natives in Italy (ARKI). The donation, valued at 400,000 CFA francs, is part of an ongoing effort to support displaced families struggling with their circumstances and improve their living conditions.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Koulp©logo Province, Sadou Ou©draogo, expressed gratitude for this act of solidarity, noting that ARKI has been an active supporter of the province. The association has previously contributed to the Patriotic Support Fund and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), with their total contributions exceeding three million FCFA to support IDPs, VDPs, and the province's development. Ou©draogo conveyed the appreciation of both the administrative authorities and the people of Koulp©logo to the members of ARKI for their consistent dedication to their homeland.

Representing ARKI, President Sylvestre Zombr© highlighted the commitment of Koulp©logo nationals residing in Italy to assist their home province, particularly in light of the challenges posed by the increasing number of internally displaced persons. During his visit to Burkina Faso, Zombr© personally delivered the donation, reiterating the association's pledge to continue supporting the people of Koulp©logo whenever possible.

Beneficiaries' spokesperson, Kouga Dolbzanga, voiced her heartfelt thanks to the project initiators and partners for their role in implementing this support, which provides much-needed relief to many vulnerable families. She also wished for the continued success of similar initiatives.

The Provincial Directorate of Family and Solidarity officials reiterated their dedication to ongoing assistance and support actions for the province's most vulnerable populations. Since 2023, ARKI has mobilized a total of 3,643,240 FCFA for various solidarity efforts, including substantial contributions for the VDP and support for the war effort against terrorism.
