Koukouldi Celebrates Academic Excellence: 143 Students Awarded for Outstanding Performance

KOUKOULDI, TENADO – Last Saturday, Koukouldi marked its 5th annual Day of Excellence at School, recognizing 143 top-performing students from the local schools in the commune of Ténado, Sanguié Province. The event, organized by the Djé Gnini association, was chaired by Minister of State Bassolma Bazié.

According to Burkina Information Agency, president of the Djé Gnini association, the awards varied widely, from school kits and bicycles to scholarships for high school students. The event also honored teachers who had demonstrated significant dedication over the academic year with certificates and monetary awards. The local entrepreneur, Nebilma Bado, was acknowledged for his continuous support since 2002 in providing school kits to underprivileged students.

Minister Bazié, addressing the attendees, emphasized the role of education in nation-building and urged the youth to embody values of virtuous governance and social excellence as they grow.
