Koudougou: Mamouna Sidib© Brilliantly Obtains Her Doctorate on the API Approach

Koudougou: Ms. Mamouna Sidib© / Yabr© successfully defended her doctoral thesis on the Integrative Pedagogical Approach (API) in bilingual primary schools in Burkina Faso on Monday at Norbert Zongo University, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the thesis was entitled "Effects of evaluation practices according to the Integrative Pedagogical Approach (IPA) on the teaching and learning of science in bilingual primary schools in Burkina Faso". This research falls within the measurement and evaluation option. The new doctor's findings indicate that the API (Individualized Learning Program) enhances students' autonomy, motivation, and skills acquisition. She also discussed the challenges encountered during data collection, noting the reluctance of some teachers.

The jury, chaired by Professor Tindaogo F©lix Vallean, acknowledged the methodological rigor and analysis. Her thesis supervisor, Professor Fran§ois Sawadogo, remarked on the work's value for improving the national education system. Ms. Sidib© was awarded the degree of Doctor with the highest distinction.

Dr. Sidib© expressed her commitment to using the research findings to optimize science learning in Burkina Faso. The jury included Dr. Mangawindin Guy Romuald Ouedraogo and Dr. Kaml© J. Clarisse Nappord as rapporteurs, with Dr. Joseph B©ogo serving as examiner.
