Koubri — In a robust display of community spirit, residents of Koubri gathered on Saturday, August 3, 2024, to weed the municipal field without charge, embracing the concept of 'free plowing'. This collective effort supports Burkina Faso's presidential initiative for community development and the Agro-Pastoral and Fisheries Offensive aimed at securing food sufficiency.
According to Burkina Information Agency, president of the special delegation in Koubri, the activity was not only a testament to social cohesion but also an essential contribution to the national government's vision for development. Public and private administration employees, Village Development Councils, members of youth and women's associations, citizen monitoring groups, and Internally Displaced Persons all contributed to the effort.
