Kossouka: The Kossouka C school council office convened members in an ordinary general assembly on Friday, January 23, for a conclave to address current challenges, AIB observed. Teachers and parents shared ideas to find suitable solutions to the challenges of school time.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this is a General Assembly which takes place after the renewal of the board of the Parents' Association (APE), now built under the name of School Council, and which stems from the Presidential Initiative for a Quality School (IPEQ). For three hours, the members of the board, teachers, and parents of students exchanged ideas on the life of the school for its influence while proposing suitable solutions to current challenges which include the effective participation of parents of students in the life of the school, school dropouts, etc., which the new Board chaired by Abdoul Salam Ou©draogo would like to address.
The activity report that was presented gives reasons for satisfaction according to the participants, but also requires the support of the various stakeholders for the success of the mission. For Harouna Savadogo, the headmaster of the Kossouka C school, this framework for direct exchange allows for the clear laying of solid foundations and the strengthening of school-family relations. Mr. Savadogo also requested the blessings and support of his colleagues in carrying out his mission.
