According to Burkina Information Agency, this donation consisted of, among other things, 3 bags of rice of 50 kg, 3 bags of rice of 25 kg, a box of CITEC soaps, a bag of kabakourou soaps, 20 bags of corn of 100 kg, 1 box of spaghetti, cans of oil, clothes and fuel for the Volunteers for the Defense of my Homeland (VDP).

This ceremony was attended by administrative, customary and religious authorities, military and paramilitary authorities and the VDP leader, Boulaye Dao. The president of the patriotic movement, Sayouba Sawadogo, praised the commitment and promptness with which the population reacted.
