Numandou: The Secretary General of Kossi Province, Firmin Bassol©, officially installed Hamidou Dayamba as the Provincial Director of Water and Forests. Dayamba, appointed by the Council of Ministers earlier in March, pledged to manage resources collegially and effectively.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Hamidou Dayamba succeeds Commander Lassina Traor©, who has been reassigned to lead the provincial water and forestry department in Bal©. During the installation ceremony, Dayamba expressed gratitude to his family for their support and acknowledged the responsibilities ahead in managing the province's forest and wildlife resources. He emphasized collaboration with his team to address the challenges in water and forestry management.

Dayamba paid tribute to his predecessor, Traor©, for his contributions and assured the staff of his commitment to leadership. Traor© encouraged the personnel to support Dayamba and sought forgiveness for any past grievances during his tenure. He was recognized by the Secretary General for his efforts in collaborating with local security groups to combat terrorism in Kossi Province.

Lieutenant Assimou To©, representing the staff, expressed their readiness to cooperate with Dayamba. He also wished Commander Traor© success in his new role. The Secretary General welcomed Dayamba to Numandou and urged him to take on his new responsibilities with dedication.
