Kossi Province Sees 10.80% Increase in Primary School Certificate Success Rate


Kossi: The results of the Primary School Certificate (CEP) announced on June 14, 2025, show a significant improvement in Kossi Province. The province recorded 1,789 admissions, representing a success rate of 83.25%, which marks an increase of 10.80% compared to the previous year, 2024.



According to Burkina Information Agency, students were able to sit the 2025 CEP exam with peace of mind, thanks to the support of the Defense and Security Forces. Out of the 1,789 admissions, 556 were girls and 442 were boys, contributing to the overall success rate of 83.25%.



The internally displaced students also performed well, with 836 participants, including 442 girls and 394 boys. They achieved a success rate of 84.93%, with 710 students admitted, comprising 377 girls and 333 boys.
