KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Notable Gains and Losses


Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a day of mixed movements, with several companies experiencing significant gains and losses. Among the notable performers, Samsung Biologics closed at 1,040,000, marking an increase of 7,000, while HD Hyundai Electric surged by 29,000 to close at 429,500. SK ie technology and KakaoPay also posted gains, closing at 22,600 and 57,400, respectively, with increases of 300 and 7,900.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, other companies also displayed upward trends, including HYBE, which saw a rise of 7,000, closing at 309,000, and Netmarble, which gained 5,300 to end at 60,100. Additionally, Hanwha Systems increased by 8,600, reaching 51,400, and Krafton went up by 2,000, closing at 375,500.



On the downside, emart faced a significant drop, closing at 83,100 after a decrease of 7,500. KEPCO also saw a decline, ending the day at 27,450, down by 3,100. Other companies like Hankook Tire and Technology and Hyundai Department Store experienced losses, closing at 39,350 and 69,500, respectively.



In summary, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a day of varied performances, with companies in both positive and negative territories. The fluctuations highlight the dynamic nature of the market as different sectors and stocks react to diverse factors influencing their valuations.
