Ouagadougou: Members of the special delegation urged to become more involved in mobilizing financial resources. The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Koper, Zakaria Dao, invited the members of the municipal body to become more involved in the mobilization of financial resources, on the occasion of the first ordinary session of the year 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the first ordinary session of the year 2026 of the special delegation of the commune of Koper was held on April 6, 2026, in the meeting room of the town hall, under the chairmanship of the president of the special delegation, Zakaria Dao. The meeting brought together 16 members to discuss issues related to the governance and management of the municipality. During the proceedings, participants read, amended, and adopted the minutes of the fourth ordinary session of 2025.

They also examined the authorizing officer's report, the report of the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee, and the administrative and management accounts. The members of the special delegation also unanimously adopted the preliminary draft of the first supplementary budget for the fiscal year 2026.

According to the chairman of the special delegation, this session constitutes "a key moment to evaluate the management of the past year and define new directions for the development of the municipality of Koper". Mr. Dao called on the members of the special delegation to participate actively and responsibly to ensure a successful mobilization of the municipality's financial resources.

The exchanges also helped to strengthen transparency in the management of public resources and to improve the planning of municipal development actions. No draft resolutions were registered during this first ordinary session of 2026. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to working for the proper functioning of the municipality and the improvement of the living conditions of the people of Koper.
