Koosin High Commissioner Advocates Discipline in Civic Education Program

Nouna: The High Commissioner of Koosin Province, Noufo Dembel©, visited the Nouna Provincial High School to encourage students involved in civic and patriotic education. He emphasized the importance of discipline for effective learning.

According to Burkina Information Agency, civic and patriotic education has commenced in secondary schools across Nouna, targeting middle school students. The program is being conducted at four different locations: Charles Lwanga College for 8th graders, Horoya Private College for 10th graders, Nouna Provincial High School for 6th and 11th graders, and the Vocational Training Center for 7th graders.

The program will run for five weeks, featuring both theoretical and practical sessions held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During his visit, High Commissioner Noufo Dembel© was joined by the provincial secretary general, the commanding officer of the 53rd RIC (Colonial Infantry Regiment), and educators to mark the launch of the activities at Nouna Provincial High School.

Mr. Dembel© reiterated the necessity of discipline in the students' academic and personal development. The aim of the education initiative is to cultivate young individuals who are prepared to love and defend their country under any circumstances, essentially grooming the patriots of tomorrow.
