Koosin: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Bomborokuy organized its first educational day of the school year on Thursday, January 8, 2026, under the theme of reading, a fundamental pillar of school learning. This meeting of the CEB of Bomborokuy brought together primary school teachers from the district for educational exchanges aimed at strengthening reading teaching/learning skills among students.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the educational day featured presentations of lessons in CP1, CP2, and CE1, alongside exchanges and sharing of experiences. Participants contributed to effective strategies for improving reading skills from the earliest grades. The educational supervisors emphasized the aim of equipping teachers with appropriate methods to address persistent difficulties observed in some learners, particularly in fluent reading and text comprehension.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of reading as the basis for all other school subjects. Teachers welcomed the initiative, believing it helps to harmonize teaching practices and strengthen the quality of education in schools within the Bomborokuy CEB (Basic Education Center).
Through this activity, education officials aim to inject new pedagogical momentum for improved academic results for students in the district.
