Djibasso: The first vice-president of the Djibasso special delegation, Soumaila Ganam©, launched the baccalaureate exams at examination center 384, where 144 candidates are vying for their first university degree. The session commenced on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, with participants divided into two series: A4 and D. The A4 series consists of 73 candidates, including 30 boys and 43 girls, while the D series comprises 71 candidates, with 47 boys and 24 girls.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch ceremony was presided over by Soumaila Ganam©, who officially opened the first event. The ceremony saw the participation of military and paramilitary authorities, alongside educational and administrative officials, demonstrating a significant community interest in the academic milestone.
The first vice-president encouraged the candidates to approach the exams with calmness and focus, wishing them success in their endeavors. "The tests you begin today are an important step in your journey. Stay focused, work calmly and give your best, because your efforts will be crucial for your future," Mr. Ganam© stated, emphasizing the importance of these examinations in shaping the students' academic and professional paths.
